1901 Hot Dog (Nineteen O One) is a home grown franchise chain founded in 1997 by a Malaysian couple. The company is famous for its American style hot dogs which were registered with the Ministry of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development (MECD) as franchisor. In fact, the name 1901 itself was derived from the year the hot dog name was introduced in America. Now it has open to a total of more than 80 outlets.
